The Monthly Anime Adventure is the product of a partnership between Anime Punch and The Ohio State University Urban Arts Space. This monthly event is dedicated to the pursuit of hosting fun and intellectually stimulating lectures, discussions, and interactive events for people of all ages. It is also a step in building a bridge between Columbus's many arts communities and the anime community. This series should be entertaining and enriching for both people with no previous understanding of Japanese animation and for hard core otaku alike!

Game Changing Anime
Thursday, June 21st 6pm - 8pm

When looking back over the last 50 years of anime it is very easy to see that each era of anime has been dominated by certain themes and traits. We will seek to explore which anime have progressed their medium, and how this phenomena works.

The UAS is located at 50 W Town Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. There doors facing State street (in the back of the complex) are often closed by the time our stuff starts, so you will need to use the main entrance on Town Street. There is typically on-street parking available, so bring quarters for the meters. There are nearby parking garages as well.
