Summer Viewing Club
To start things off we were thinking of doing something really epic or classic. The titles of Gundam, Macross, Evangelion, Black Jack, Serial Experiments Lain, Gurren Lagann, Harlock, and Gunbuster were tossed around. In the end we decided that we would go a different direction with the first wave of this.Our first title to be shown will be GUNFRONTIER!! Gunfrontier reuses the classic Leiji Matsumoto characters of Harlock and Tochiro and throws them into the wild west. It's a story of cowboys, manliness, murder, rape, and science fiction! It's a fun ride without getting too heavy, but still incorporates the themes honor, freedom, and being man that characterized Matsumotos more classic works.
