"At the end of all mens journies, what they desire most is to return the Arcadia of their youth".

Anime Punch will return to the Hyatt Regency in 2011!
(and not just because it looks sorta like a Star Destroyer in drydock)
Hyatt Regency Columbus
350 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio, United States 43215
Tel: 1-614-463-1234
Fax: 1-614-280-3034
Web: Hyatt Regency Website
The Hyatt is on the border of the hip and happening Arena District, the cool and artistic Short North, and the dead and boring Columbus downtown. It is big, and mighty, and has its own food court.
The rate for this year's con is $98/night, and that rate goes for both 1 King Bed or 2 Double Beds rooms. The rate will end by April 15th, or when they sell out, whichever comes first! That means you should hop to it right now!

Please book with the Hyatt! Anime Punch directly benefits from the number of rooms sold at the Hyatt, or rather, is directly harmed by the amount of unsold space. Please support your convention and book with the Hyatt so that AP can continue to exist, and can continue to have the great level of access we enjoy at this venue. Even if other nearby hotels turn out to be a few bucks cheaper, the overall benefit to the event as a whole more than justifies the added expense. This is true for most other conventions as well. Remember, a better deal with the hotel allows us to serve more free food in the consuite, more free drinks at the party, more guests to the con, more lights in the dance, more sound in the concerts, more stuff in the game room, and a better planned con all around! Thank you.
NOTE: IF YOU ARE HOSTING A PARTY YOU MUST DEMAND TO BE ON THE FIFTH (5TH) FLOOR. THERE ARE MANY NOISE FLOORS, BUT ONLY ONE PARTY FLOOR, AND THEIR RESERVATIONS STAFF DOESN'T REALLY MAKE THAT DISTINCTION!!
HANDY STUFF!!

Party Block Noise floors, and Quiet floors
Noise/Quiet floors
Our rooming section is divided in two, as we have a diverse mix of people, and a huge chunk of them like to stay up late! You will have the option of sleeping on a noise floor, or a quiet floor. Noise floors are dedicated to people who want to stay up all night making a ruckus. If you expect to be up until all hours giggling like schoolgirls, doing some extreme gaming, or just rocking out this is where you should be. If you value quiet, and are also quiet yourself, you should sign up for a quiet floor. If you are not sure which you fit into, chose a noise floor. On the noise floors, noise complaints will not be honored, but on the quiet floors they will be more strictly enforced. As no one likes having hotel security knock on your door and tell you "Pipe down or we'll kick you out" we have the noise floors set up to protect you from that, and likewise, some people hate noisey hotels so the quiet floors are for their protection. By making sure you end up in the right section, you ensure a great night for everyone who is considerate enough to stay in the proper hotel!Party Block!
Last year we tried out having a party floor, and it was a huge success! If you are interested in being at the heart of the party you can request to reserve a room in our party block! Suites are also available on this floor for those of you looking to host a kicking party! On the subject of parties, this year we’ll be having a room party competition, If you're interested in this, click here for details!NOTE: IF YOU ARE HOSTING A PARTY YOU MUST DEMAND TO BE ON THE FIFTH (5TH) FLOOR. THERE ARE MANY NOISE FLOORS, BUT ONLY ONE PARTY FLOOR, AND THEIR RESERVATIONS STAFF DOESN'T REALLY MAKE THAT DISTINCTION!!
