Here's the deal, we want to make sure things are safe and reasonably sane, so we're throwing a few basic rules into the mix. As long as you are compliant then we're cool, and you've got a shot at the prize.
1) Register your room party with Conops (located in the Clark Room) at some point before the things starts. This is mostly so we know to stop in from time to time to see how things are going and grab a drink.
2) No serving to minors. If they are under 21, you can't be giving them alcohol. There is no requirements as to what ages can attend the party, but be safe and smart. A drunk teen can cause you a shit ton of trouble you don't want!
3) No Drugs! Seriosuly, if you're opening your room to the public, why the fuck would you have drugs anyhow? You shouldn't have that shit anyways.
4) ABSOLUTELY NO DAMAGE TO THE HOTEL. This fucks both of us over, so don't let anything get so out of hand that jerks you don't know start breaking shit.
5) Everyone you let in must be a badge-wearing Anime Punch Attendee. This con, and the parties at this con are for the attendees of the convention who came here for a good time. As far as we are concerned, the parties are as much a part of the event as anything else, and even if it's not something we host personally, this conglomeration of awesomeness is our doing. Crashers, local hipsters, and your chump friends who are above/too cheap to buy a badge are not permitted.
6) Comply with all local, state, federal, international, and intergalactic laws. I guess this should probably go without saying.
7) We don't want to pull the plug on anything. If we have to, be cool. On that note, don't make us HAVE to pull the plug on something to keep from having to pull the plug on everything. Basically don't be dicks, don't make us be dicks, and don't suffer dicks lightly.
Past that have a good time! Decorations are encouraged but not required. Alcohol is encouraged but not required. Snacks are encouraged but not required. Music is not required but pretty fucking encouraged. We also recommend you get a suite, rather than just a normal room. To get one call reservations and ask to book a suite on the 5th floor for Saturday.
FYI, the party floor is the 5th floor, unless it gets expanded.
